Right now it's twenty degrees!! Otherwise, it's probably the most miserably place you'd want to be. It's hot and humid at that, so you feel like you can hardly breathe. Also, people can be very narrow minded outside of the city, and I rarely get to go to the city. And to call it a city is really insulting to the word city, haha. It's kind of sad. The middle is dying and everyone is moving outward into the suburbs. Also, we have terrible water management and so back during the spring our governor prayed for rain instead of actually taking measures to do something about it in the first place. All of our pipe structure is falling apart and we have no money to pay for it, somehow, so we waste TONS of water as well. This is all caused by the rapid construction in the area and influx of people we've had over the last twenty years. BUT our lottery pays for college tuitions, so at least there's one positive. (But I was born and raised a Yankee and so moving down here was the last thing I really wanted to do. Making the best of it until I can find an escape route.)
